Blocked and deeply carved wood, the hand has a large hole board in the base though there are no signs of glue or fasteners. Well the original purpose of the head is unknown, it may have been part of a Santos or primitive mannequin. North or Central American, circa late 19th century 10" Width 6" Depth 9"

Purchased this book for my 6 year old grandson, whose family will be moving out of state within a year. This is a wonderful, touching books that lets children know that you are always thinking of them, loving them, and always there. My grandson can read the easy words and short sentences by himself, or have his parents read them to him. Very, very cute ways they relate everyday occurrences to us being there for our loved little ones. I highly recommend this book!
