I am a woman and do it myself with no issues at all. The filter feels sturdy and well made. The thickness and overall quality are excellent. I’ve seen people mention “ease of cleaning,” but I don’t clean mine. I just remove, vacuum the area and replace it when needed. That might be a bit much, but it’s affordable and straightforward. I can’t say exactly how much it improves airflow or fuel mileage, but I consistently get over 40 miles per gallon in economy mode, so it’s clearly performing well.
