Within two to three minutes the gauge will read that vacuum is held and there are no leaks. Coolant then can be refilled into the coolant system without creating any air locks. I bought this for my 2018 Honda Civic, and it fits perfectly. It only takes a few minutes to install with just a few clips, and the process is simple. I’ve seen people mention “ease of cleaning,” but I don’t clean mine. I just remove, vacuum the area and replace it when needed. That might be a bit much, but it’s affordable and straightforward. I can’t say exactly how much it improves airflow or fuel mileage, but I consistently get over 40 miles per gallon in economy mode, so it’s clearly performing well.
