American Red Cross Knit ScarfVintage 1940s WWII American Red Cross knit scarf. These were knitted by volunteers and sent to the troops via the Red Cross. This one seems to have been knitted by an amateur as one end is wider than the other which makes this a rare item as the Production Corps was supposed to check things over for uniformity.
