A spring loaded ball bearing sits in the recess holding the lever firmly in the correct position but allows the lever to move upon impact. Stretchy but still leaves room for the dad bod belly and dad bod boobs lol This specific polo runs a bit larger than most of the others by this same company so be aware of that. I am 5'6" - 280lbs and wear a 4xl normally in AZ's but this one fit perfect in a 3xl. Great summer night shirt, just be mindful not to snag it on something and also better to hand wash this as even a gentle cycle has the tendency to cause some damage.
